Greetings,

I am having a difficult time selecting a great Revolutionary (or really any American War) Stand. I am writing a story about young kids defending their home against invaders and I'd like to reference a great historical American war stand for character names and descriptions. Could anyone please direct me to a good reference. It is a children's fantasy story, but not as silly as Home Alone. Do you think Bunker Hill is the best one or is there a lesser known battle that I could reference?

Thanks for any help,

BT

The Characters in the Great Revolutionary stand affect the thinking of the young guys and they start thinking with some kind of patriotic feelings.I think these kind of history should be taught in schools.

I know that there is a great book about that, that you could probably find in a library.
I forget name but it has stories of Colonial Kids.
