Greetings,

I am having a difficult time selecting a great Revolutionary (or really any American War) Stand. I am writing a story about young kids defending their home against invaders and I'd like to reference a great historical American war stand for character names and descriptions. Could anyone please direct me to a good reference. It is a children's fantasy story, but not as silly as Home Alone. Do you think Bunker Hill is the best one or is there a lesser known battle that I could reference?

Thanks for any help,

BT
