I"m searching for any desendants of the celebrated, double-agent patriot spy, John Honeyman. JH was the personal spy of Geaorge Washington...he provided Washington with the information he needed to capture Trenton, NJ on 12/25-26/1776.
We"re currently planning a rededication ceremony for JH in Laminton, NJ where he is buried with his wife and other family members. US Color Guard, Rev War re-enactors, friends, descendants, NJ politicians will be present for the ceremony. We"re trying to round up more Honeyman family members for the ceremony. I"ve managed to find a few dozen descedndants so far. Several will be present from around the country. Tours of the Honeyman homesteads, which still stand today in Somerset County, NJ, are in the works as well.
